Zesty Basil Butter Recipe
Yield: 1/2 cup butter
Zesty Basil Butter
This zesty and savory basil butter is the perfect addition to many of your favorite dishes.

Ingredients:
- ½ cup salted butter, softened
- ¼ cup packed fresh basil, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, zested
- Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl add all ingredients together and mix until thoroughly combined.
- Scoop the butter onto a 12-by-10-inch piece of plastic wrap. Wrap the butter with the plastic wrap and shape it into an even log that will fit into your butter keeper.
- Refrigerate for a few hours until firm or if serving right away skip step two and serve in a bowl for everyone to enjoy.
Notes:
• Butter should keep well for at least 2 weeks wrapped up in the fridge and about 6 months wrapped up in the freezer.
