This smoothie is packed with wholesome ingredients like blueberries, spinach, and greek yogurt! The lemon juice will help you absorb the iron in the spinach!
Ingredients
- 1 frozen banana
- ¾ cups frozen blueberries
- 5 large basil leaves
- ¼ cup yogurt
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup water
- 1 cup spinach, packed
- 2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons Honeybee mango coconut jasmine lemonade syrup
Instructions
- In a blender add all the ingredients and blend on low to get all the frozen fruit broken down first and then blend on high to thoroughly mix everything and make it smooth.
Notes:
· Bulk freeze your peeled bananas overnight so you have them ready to go every morning!
· Optional: top your smoothie off with hemp seeds, ground flaxseeds, or chia seeds to add some extra nutrients!
